COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM

Program Level – Undergraduate Certificate
Program Length – 1500 Clock hours


Our Cosmetology program is a comprehensive course that includes professional training within several aspects of the beauty industry. It is designed to give our graduates a competitive edge, with professionalism and business training, such as retailing, budgeting, and sales, taught throughout the program.



Our program includes an inneractive Pivot Point LAB, where much of the curriculum is taught in conjunction with a social learning experience. Our students connect with one another thru LAB as they grow in techniques and trends throughout the industry. Our salon floor gives students the experience needed to develop their techniqes and communication skills with clients. Our curriculum includes training in various up to date hair styles, nail artistry, and skin care techniques, along with state board preperation.

Austin’s does attempt to help students find a job by notifying them of openings and helping them create a resume and portfolio. Austin’s also posts job openings and works with salons to help find placements.
